This Privacy Policy describes how JUST US (operated by NIBCARD GAMES) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the application (the "App").

Data we collect

Personal data you provide:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Age
  • Phone number (if provided)

Usage data collected automatically:

  • Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers
  • IP address, session length, and feature usage
  • Crash logs and diagnostic data (via Firebase Crashlytics)

Chat and communication data:

  • Content of messages sent and received in two-person and Group Edition chats
  • Timestamps and identifiers of participants in your chat rooms

Location data: approximate location derived from your IP address, or GPS if you enable location services.

How we use your data

  • To operate and maintain the App and your account
  • To deliver and secure chat and Group Edition functionality
  • To contact you about updates, security notices, and support
  • To analyse usage trends and improve the App (using aggregated, non-personal data)
  • To investigate reported abuse or violations of our Terms

We do not sell your personal data or chat content to third parties.

Data sharing

  • Service providers: trusted partners (for example, Google Firebase) who help us operate the App and are bound by their own privacy policies and appropriate contractual safeguards.
  • Legal requirements: when required by law, regulation, or valid government request, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or similar corporate transaction, where your data may be transferred as part of the business assets, with prior notice to you where feasible.
  • With your consent: for any other purpose that you explicitly agree to.

Chat data — important note

Messages exchanged between you and your partner, or within a Group Edition room, are private to those participants. We do not share or sell chat content.

Chat data is retained for up to 90 days after the date of the message, then deleted, unless retention is required by law or an active abuse investigation.

Data retention

  • Personal account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
  • Usage and analytics data is retained for up to 60 days in raw form; aggregated reports may be kept longer.
  • Crash report data is retained for up to 90 days.

Data deletion

You may delete your account and associated data at any time through in-app account settings or by contacting us using the details below. We will delete your data within a reasonable time, except where retention is legally required.

Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verified parental consent. For more information on how we handle children's data, please see our Parental Consent documentation and Child Safety policies.

Analytics and tracking

We use Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics to understand app performance and usage patterns. These tools may collect device identifiers, usage events, and approximate location.

Raw analytics data is retained for up to 60 days. You can opt out via your device's ad-tracking settings or the in-app analytics toggle (where available).

Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect your data. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by email or prominent in-app notice before material changes take effect. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated Policy.
