JUST US — Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the JUST US application (the "App").

Interpretation and definitions

Capitalised words have the meanings defined below, whether they appear in singular or plural.

  • Application: the JUST US software program downloaded by you on any device.
  • Company (also "We", "Us", "Our"): JUST US, operated by NIBCARD GAMES, Nigeria.
  • Device: any internet-enabled device used to access the App.
  • You: the individual accessing or using the App.
  • Partner: the one other person you have connected with inside the App.
  • Group Edition: the optional multi-person chat room feature available within the App.

Acknowledgment

By downloading or using JUST US, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. You represent that you are at least 13 years old. Users under 13 require parental consent.

Nature of the application

JUST US is a private relationship application. The standard experience connects exactly two people. The Group Edition allows a defined, closed group of known contacts to participate in a shared chat room. The App does not include any public discovery, open social networking, or stranger-matching features.

Chat and user content

You are solely responsible for all messages and content you send through the App, whether in a two-person chat or a Group Edition room. By using any chat feature you agree not to:

  • Send abusive, threatening, harassing, or harmful content
  • Share another person's personal information without their consent
  • Transmit spam, malware, or illegal content of any kind

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. While the Company respects private conversations, we provide strict moderation tools:

  • Filtering & Flagging: The App provides a method for filtering objectionable content and a mechanism for users to flag objectionable content or abusive users.
  • Blocking: A mechanism is provided for users to block abusive users. Blocking a user will instantly remove the inappropriate content from your feed and automatically notify the Company of the inappropriate content.
  • Enforcement within 24 Hours: We will act on objectionable content reports within 24 hours. The offending content will be removed, and the user who provided the offending content will be ejected from the App.

Group Edition — additional rules

The Group Edition is intended for use among people who already know one another. You are responsible for only inviting people you know and trust. The same content rules that apply to two-person chat apply equally in group rooms. The Company may suspend or remove group rooms that are reported for abuse.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination your right to use the App ceases immediately.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any content exchanged through the chat features.

"As is" disclaimer

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute shall first be resolved informally by contacting the Company.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. If a change is material we will give at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
